dash and interior lights?

I have a 91 auto GSX.. I have 3 electrical problems.

1. When I open the drive door, the key hole and dome lights don't come on. Only comes on once in awhile. Opening the passenger side door the key hole and dome light never come on.
2. My radio light comes on onces in a while..
3. My temperature gauge is at Zero.. no matter how hot it gets.
I checked the thermostat connection.. looks fine. checked the wires and it looks fine. Is there someting I'm missing?
some help would be great.

Re: dash and interior lights?

1. Check your door switches the ones with the rubber covering.
2. The Radio is on its way out.
3.Replace the sensor that is for the gauge, and data log it to make sure the engine temp sensor works.

If his car starts and runs fine the ecu should know what the coolent temp is, the temp gauge sensor is the one wire sensor on the front bottom right of the Tstat housing, the wires around there become brittle and break a lot.

Re: dash and interior lights?

bottom right side of the thermostat.. so I was looking at the wrong one..
that wire is broken and i can't even see where that wire went too..

The door sensors are all pushed in.. and it needed some oiling and adjustments,.

this helped a lot..

thanks..
