Cow Tipping...
There are a lot of sites now days that are saying that cow tipping is a myth and you cant tip a cow. I have heard many stories from friends that have actually "said" they have done this and it can be done.
Does anyone have any footage or have any online videos of someone actually tipping a cow? I checked youtube but there is just a bunch of spoof vids.

Re: Cow Tipping...
Speaking from experience? ;-)
My Uncle had a few kids tip one on him last year at the homecoming game in Park Rapids. Thing died from a heart attack as best as they can tell. Apart from a full autopsy, the meat was still fine.

Re: Cow Tipping...
I do speak from experiane. A full filled life on a farm.
My words of advice.
1) Trying to cow tip a full grown cow by yourself is
a) impossible unless your competing in the strong man contests. lol
b) going to hurt you more than the cow
2) Go after a smaller steer or try to tip while they are on a sloppy surface. Perferable while jumping off a wagon or truck bed and hope for the best.
I think I ended with a 2 tips vs 25ish attempts.

Does the cow ever come back at you on an unsuccessful attempt or will it run?

Re: Cow Tipping...
On a failed attempt the cow doesn't move. I looks at you and mocks you, or goes to find a new spot to chill or eat.

Re: Cow Tipping...
Don't we all remember football practice? Get low, put your all into it, and push up.
It can be done solo... but as stated before, work out for a good year or 10 first. I could have done it back in HS, but now all my muscle has turned to fat and as old people do, it migrated south.

Re: Cow Tipping...
Cow tipping. I picture the movie Tommy Boy. And right now I picture Allan next to his scorchers getting ready to tip a cow that is too big for him.
This thread is awesome......or maybe it is the beer.

We could go throw shit off a bridge, maybe cruise for some 4H babes, or some cow tippin.
From personal experience, it is true; cow tipping is not a myth.

Re: Cow Tipping...
Yah, if you do it, you need to tip and run like hell. Cows can actually run pretty fast.

Re: Cow Tipping...
I've never been cow tipping where you push them over, but a few of us went one day where we we all riding in the bed of a truck and we were ropping them around the feet and pulling them over with the truck, LOL. I felt really bad for the cows

Thats pretty fucked up. I am not a big fan of any animal cruelty, if you want to pick on something for shits and giggles, at least do it with someone/thing that can fight back.

Re: Cow Tipping...
Trust me, you didn't hurt the cow doing that. The cow was just happy for help in laying down. Or he was waiting for the right time to shit on your head while yolu where roping the legs. That's never fun. Don't ask how I know.

Cow tipping is one thing, but if I ever saw people doing this with cattle I owned, they would have one pissed off redneck with a 12 gauge coming after them.

This thread is sweet. I rather not cow tip. But I always wanted to go try it. Maybe Allan can take me out some time when I am in MN.
