What's the difference with the "leaded" valve?

Re: Tial Sport Sale

The leaded valve for the Tial 38mm can handle leaded race gas. The 44mm and 46mm come standard with a lead tolerant valve. I have so far seen 2 Tial 35/38mms sieze up from using leaded gas with the normal valve.

Re: Tial Sport Sale

Got it.

I would have thought they were all lead tolerant.

Is the lead tolerant valve something the end user could replace?

Yes, you just have to be careful to not pinch the diaphragm when putting the top back on.
