Re: There's a new Turbo on the Block!

FUNNIEST thing. I remember a kid in my Auto Shop class a year ago actually bought one to put into his dodge avenger thinking it would dramastically increase his horspower. He even tried to put it in but was let down because the leaf blower *ahem* i mean electric supercharger ^_^ didn't get any power because the unit was bad. So in the end he was down $150 bucks and left with a broken leaf blower LMAO!

ROFL! People who purchase those things, believing that they're going to notice a performance difference-I mean, a GOOD performance difference deserve bad units! I always get a good chuckle out of those things.

Re: There's a new Turbo on the Block!

You actually would make some extra power on the 1.8! So guys I know checked it out on the dyno and made an extra 10 whp on the dyno with a low hp car. It wouldn't work on higher hp cars though, there it would be a restriction.

Or atleast be real, and just go down to the boneyard pull out a semi-smashed but driveable civic for $250, gut the interior, if any, throw a 250 shot on the S.O.B. and just let it RIP WIDE open till she goes up in flames!

Re: There's a new Turbo on the Block!

Not to support this piece of shit at all (not even 1%) but to be at least somewhat observant, however that page was funny as hell. That dude didn't test the leaf blower type fan (or centrifugal), the only thing that thing was doing was, like he said, was causing more resistance. If you want something that can hold some type of pressure, like a *REAL* turbo, you need a centrifugal type fan. I only know this because I tried making a mini hover craft
