Lightbulb $100 left, what to buy?

So i have almost got my talon back to stock condition today, needs an alignment still but oh well.
Anyway after i am contacted by slowbubblecar for some 3" turbo back exhaust i will have $100 left to spend on the car. My question to you all is what should i spend it on? The car is stock, has a boost gauge though.
Goals: not sure thinking 400hp eventually, Iam thinking 16G for my next turbo and set the car up from there to go bigger (get frontmount, DSMlink, MAFT, etc. while on 16G)
I don't want to buy stuff twice, i would rather buy once and do it right.
Hope this helps
Thanks you guys never let me down

Re: $100 left, what to buy?

Get that alignment done now and a MBC.

Also Id get a bigger turbo if you want 400hp, the 16g isnt going to cut it.

4 jackstands should run about $50-60. then... one month of garage storage on top of that for about $40?

$100 gets you three tanks of gas, which equates to something like 900miles of freeway driving, south would be the best direction, that is if you want warmer weather, I personally would go 900 miles north and do some snow drifting....god I miss the winter, not this cold shit weather we have here currently

Re: $100 left, what to buy?

well thx for the advice so far, i think.
400hp is more of an eventual number. The 16G is more to get me by while i upgrade everything else to support a bigger turbo.
So far it looks like an MBC, 2G exh. mani. , and 2G 02 housing are my options.

God I love the creative people on this site. I say buy some lotto tickets or at least try to earn a return on Indian ground.

I've got SBR's prototype o2 housing FS. It's an atmospheric dump though, don't know if you're into that or not.

Re: $100 left, what to buy?

Won't you save the one hundred dollars and earn 400 more an buy your 16G. That would be the best bang for the buck or if you don't have a boost gauge than buy one before you buy a MBC.

Re: $100 left, what to buy?

i'd rather go 2G 02 just cause i hear its best for the price. That 02 looks way too nice for the money i want to spend. But i do appreciate your offer.

Re: $100 left, what to buy?

I say take a small portion of that spare money and get the underhood shifter bushings, and the bushings for the shifter base inside the car. Not something I would have typically boughten but I had a few bucks laying around and Hughes told me to grab some because I wasn't sure where to spend. Made my shifter feel considerably stiffer and less sloppy. Definately worth the pocket change I spent on them.

And I have a MBC if you want one, it's from Elite, never used. I'd sell it to ya for like 10 bux

Re: $100 left, what to buy?

If your car needs an alignment, get that before anything else before you destroy your tires (not to mention safety reasons). After that, new plugs/wires, a K&N air filter, then a MBC.

Re: $100 left, what to buy?

Thx, thats more like it. You guys rock. Brandon i will take that MBC. I can get an alignment for like $25 but i have to wait for my friends boss to leave. I think that i will do the shifter bushings though my car started acting up a couple of days ago, it wouldn't go into reverse, then i looked at the shifter base and it was wobbling, you could see the shitty rubber bushings squishing under pressure.
Oh, i have a complete tune-up done on the car.
thx again

Re: $100 left, what to buy?

Shifter bushings are a great idea, don't forget to also replace the rubbers ones on the shift levers where the cables connect to the tranny. I had all the bushings on my car and it made a world of difference!

Re: $100 left, what to buy?

www.speed-source.net for the bushings that go on the tranny levers and www.machv.com for the Symbrowski kit that goes on the shifter base. I am sure if you go on eBay you could find similar products for cheaper, but these are both the brands I used and the fitment and quality was top-notch. The Symbrowski kit also includes a tube that nobody else does and it also helped tighen up the shifter so i say its worth the extra money.

Re: $100 left, what to buy?

I got mine off ebay. Both for the ones where they meet the tranny, and for the ones under the shifter. The ones under the shifter made the most difference to me. Made it just feel solid.
