Expensive transmissions make me cringe... The thought of that much money grenading into shards of metal isn't much fun.

1500 for a new tranny isn't bad at all.

On all 5 of my Tranny's I bought Used. 70K miles on them each one ran from $900 - $1300

That's used. Each one only lasted 1 month - 3 months. Before I finally stop racing at the tracks and haven't had a problem since.

If I ever could do it agian I'd buy a Shep tranny the first time around and be done with it. Hell it's the same price as a Used one. (use 2G guys weren't as lucky as the 1G guys back when I was needing tranny's. Couldn't by them for $300 back then like you can some 1G Trannies)

Anycase Hense why we're going with Shep for Jenny's car. Rather have basically a new tranny vs. a Used one (since the cost's are about the same if you go through junk yards/ at least for 2G's that is)

Going to mitsu and having them do your tranny for 1200 before you know anyone in the DSM scene.... yea that sucked ass. Could have gotten my tranny built for a little more. So just smile.
