Wayzata Mitsu is closed

I didn't see anyone else post about this, but last week Wayzata Mitsu closed down. It looks like Chris may have to start stocking more parts for us!!

Damn, we got pretty good prices from them and they stocked a lot and would overnight parts for free or next to nothing.

Yep they sure did. And when they were moving out, i picked up a 3s motor with a spun rod bearing for free. Complete with heads and ex. manifolds. Perks of the job i guess.

Seriously? like the dealership went under?

Wow, I didn't see that coming at all, I didnt see any signs or anything.

Wonder what is going to go in there now, kind of a "dealership only" building and location, but there are so many dealers on that strip I can't think of what would go in there.

Are you being sarcastic or serious? A lot of people knew this was coming, with how badly Mitsu is doing.

Damn, Wayzata and Brookdale where the 2 best for parts and service for the 3S and DSM crowd. Now Brookdale has to do it all.

hey guys and gals....

Since Ive started offering you guys doscounts, I trippled our inventory mostly by your sales... I really appreciate all the buisness that you all have done over the last few years. I have gotten to know more than a few of you, in good situations and bad. I hope that I can continue to serve you to the best of my ability.

It's always appreciated Chris. I could probably get all the parts I order from you from Des Moines Mitsu for the same price I'm paying from you after shipping but I'd rather give you the business.

Re: Wayzata Mitsu is closed

Chris "DSMPARTSGURU" has my buck. I just started doing business with him earlier this year and i've been treated good. I live in central WI and if i order at a pretty decent time my parts are at my door by the time i get home from work the next day. Now that's fast. Thanks Chris.

PS- I used to do most of my business thru Conicelli out east. I don't really notice too much of a difference. I get the parts much faster now though.

Brookdale has always received my full backing when it comes to parts. Wayzata was also good in a pinch, glad we don't 'operate' out of that area anymore .

Re: Wayzata Mitsu is closed

Thats weird. I called them on Saturday and the lady never told me they were closed down. All she said was that the parts department was closed and to call back after the fourth of July. Shoot they still owe me an oil ring for my trainy.

Now we just need to convince Brookedale to stay open later. Shoot! I forgot. I work second shift so I can make it in before they close. Brookdale has always been good to me. It does not matter who was helping. They were friendly and curtious. Keep up the good work guys and I will always be shopping there.

Chris has been a big asset to the DSM parts community, I just don't end up ordering parts like I used to.

Make sure you have some 2.4l head gaskets in stock! Hopefully I won't need any, but you never know.
