Anyone do concrete work?

I need the rest of the floor in the shop poured and was wondering if I could find someone to do it on the side? This is inside work and I know most concrete guys are out of work right now. There is PEX tubing in floor and part of it is poured already, there is about 800 sqft of a 4" slab that needs to be done. I'll buy the concrete and pay cash. If anyone knows of anyone, let me know!! I'll also trade labor if you need some custom car parts done.

Re: Anyone do concrete work?

Wow, lots of guys! I helped do my dad's garage and that turned out decent. I want this to have that smooth industrial finish. I'll let you guys know as it gets closer. It sounds like 95talonracer does this as a full time gig.

OK, but it'll have to wait a little while. I have to measure the driveway, and it's a bit covered presently. :P

Re: Anyone do concrete work?

If 95Talonracer doesn't do it my folks neighbor does concrete professionally. He's a good guy and always seems to do good work. It would be a bit of a drive, but he's used to it

Re: Anyone do concrete work?

I found a couple of guys that are going to do my floor for $600 labor, they will do everything! They are out of work in the winter season and looking for cash jobs, exactly what I was looking for. Cement is going to be $1,300.

The floor in the shop should be going down in the next couple of weeks! Thanks to everyone that responded.

Re: Anyone do concrete work?

Alright, now it is time to do my driveway. It is pretty big (3 car garage) and is quite steep, so that might be a challenge. Anyone else do cement work? I sent 95talonracer a pm already.

Re: Anyone do concrete work?

Let me know if you find someone decent. We are going to need a slab poured someday outside our backyard sliding glass door. We're also considering stamped concrete, or brick/rock layment type stuff too.
