intake pipes, i/c pipes, a front mount, downpipe, exhaust. the things that are different from the other dsms.
is the stock gvr-4 engine setup any different from the other dsms? because i havent seen any pics of the engine compartment yet.

The only differences are the location of the airbox, battery, and intercooler. Airbox wraps around towards the firewall, and the battery is located where the airbox would be in any other DSM. Then the intercooler is mounted slightly inside the grill.
A few GVR-4 owners switch it around due to the larger market of IC/intake pipes, etc. for the 'standard' setup.

yeah i have one, but they take a lot more work to do anything to them speedwise, so i'd say stear clear for a dsm 1st timer. and if you think you can find a gvr4 over a 1g, you must not be looking very hard.

no, not in the slightest and thats why they are so goddamn expensive. the ic (which is a POS, about half as good as a 1g core) is mounted on the front, not in the fender area like a 1g. so the piping is a lot longer and a lot more convoluted.

Actually there are reports of a 1G FMIC piping kit working on a GVR4. We have one being sent here to test on a GVR4 comming inside soon.
