I suspect like scheides said, it would be a restriction on high-flow setups, but I have absolute data from back-to-back runs with the same setup.

so for a 2.3 hx40 build , wanting 500ish do you think it would be a benefit or a restriction?
ive read that it out flows a 1g , but not by much.
seeing how my engine is already a 2.3 I figured the cyclone would give even more grunt in the low end before boost steps in.
