Good looking video :) What type of tranny do you have? Seemed to be shifting very well.

Completely stock. KNock on Wood I've run this thing down the Track probably 35 times now, and the only time it gave me problems was when the Shifter mount on the Tranny itself came loose (1 bolt fell out completely, the other was almost all the way out)
Honestly there are probably 3-4 things I attribute to my luck with this tranny.
1)AWD instead of FWD
2)Polyurothane(sp) Motor Mounts
3)DSMLINK - I have it set up so that when I shift my Rev Limit goes to where my next gear RPM will be. Which helps line up the Syncro's
4)RedLine MTL, and MT-90 Tranny Fluid, and Redline Shock Proof X-case/Rear Diff.
I've tried almost every possible combo of Tranny fluid since 1999 that I could get my hands on trying to keep my tranny's together. And so far that combo above hasn't failed me. I've been running this tranny like this for more then 1.5years. It was my Daily Driver before my Motor went, and as you probably read I've been trying to hit the tracks every other week. And I've been launching the car anywhere from 7K Dumps to now launching at 6250rpms, with Antilag building boost off the line.
Again Knock on wood, knock on wood, knock on wood, etc,etc infinity!!!! hehehe

I agree about the Redline tranny fluid, the MT-90/MTL was the best combo I found. I also got much improved shifting with the Protane motor-mounts.

Brian-If your clutch is slipping let me know, I'll hook you up with something special.

IT always slips on the 1/2 shift if I shift to hard. I can shift the 1/2 like my 2/3 in the video but when I do the clutch doesn't hold or something.
I mean it holds all gears fine I just can't speed shift my 1/2 like I can and I know it's costing me a few tenths because it takes so long for the turbo to spool back up as well as being able to get going again once it's in gear.

If it slips between gears, and its actually the clutch, odds are it is slipping in higher gears, and your not noticing. John had that act2600 with the street disc and it was doing something very similar. Tossed in that custom sbc disc and life was all good. It actually pulled in 5th!
