Thanks for the interest in our 2g dsm kit , Our will be as close to a bolt on affair as any FMIC kit can be for the 2g. It comes with full pictorial instructions , and will not
require any welding or metal cutting. You will have to remove the power steering
cooler , and there is some splash guard , and bumper cover cutting , and thats
it !! The hardest part of the install is getting the bumper off in the first
place. I will highlight some thing that set our kit apart from the rest:

1. Our J pipe clears BOTH stock fans
2. Foglights stay on 97 up
3. Short route piping , without cutting the core support
4. 2.5 piping all the way to T/B Elbow , replaces all piping
5. Our 25" wide core fill the whole grill with core ( killer loook )
6. Modular Design , 1 pipe upgrades you to t3/t4
7. No bumper cutting with 7" kit
8. Full Pictorial Instuctions and freidly Service !!

The bottom line , is that our kit will be the easiest to install , you will have
to cut some plastic , but no metal ,

Just got my Eagle Summit running, as plan B, so I don't have to rush the install and I still get to work each day.

I still need to run it buy "high command", <my wife>, but being that it's cheaper than many other install options, it should sell.

Any advise on tearing off the front bumper?

If you got a 2g, it's a bitch getting at the lower bolt for the headlight. I had to use 1/4" drive, swivel, long extension(probaby 10-12"), and some black tape. I think there was a how-to on this on tuners. Once's you get that out, it's not to bad from there on out. Just alot of bolts, platic rivets, etc..

The trick to getting a 2G front cover off is to undo the bolts that hold the fiberglass bumper's supports, not the part that connects to the fiberglass bumper, but the bolts that connect the metal supports to the chassis. There are 2 17mm(I think) bolts on each side. Then you can just do the 5 10mm bolts along the top where it meets the hood, get the plastic fender well splash covers out of the way and do the 2 10mm bolts on each side of the car holding the front bumper cover on, then either undo all the plastic rivets in the from air dams or just cut the plastic since it isn't going back in anyways. Then you can pull the whole front cover and bumper off as one piece, and those annoying lower bolts under the headlights are easy to get at off the car.

Where are these these "key" bolts, up inside the bumper, on the bottom or?

Then you can pull the whole front cover and bumper off as one piece, and those annoying lower bolts under the headlights are easy to get at off the car.

And just why do you need to take the headlight bolt off if you already have the bumper off?

Sorry to be PIA, but I've never really seen this done before, let alone done it properly!

Those "key" bolts might be hard to find, they are a bit up under the car. You shouldn't have to remove the headlights the way I do it. The rest of the stuff in that front bumper removal needs to be done whichever way you do it though.

If you look at this picture and see the around 1.5" x 1.5" square holes in the frame on each side of the intercooler, that is where the bumper supports I am talking about slide into. So if you follow those holes back underneath the car maybe 6 inches, you should see 2 bolts holding the bracket to the frame. The bolts are a few inches apart.

Ya know, I DID email this guy, but it just seemed to good to be true?

Just tonight he emailed me back and asked me if I still wanted the parts.

I just said "no thanks", Mow I'm really glad common sense pervailed in my case this time!
