Horribly put jdm. go in the corner and think about what youve done.
Im not gonna reply... im not gonna reply.... aww fuck it.
"Clinton commits felonies while in office - good...
Bush lands on aircraft carrier in jumpsuit - bad..."
Someone wanna elaborate on this one, i dont remember any felonys commited it the white house, just some head.
"Clinton spends 77 billion on war in Serbia - good...
Bush spends 87 billion in Iraq - bad..."
John did good with this one.
"Stock market crashes in 2000 under Clinton - good...
Economy on upswing under Bush - 5.4% unemployment.. record home
sales...bad..."
The Stock market CRASHED in 1929, not 2000. the dot coms went under in 2000.
"Clinton refuses to take custody of Bin Laden - good...
World Trade Centers fall under Bush - bad..."
No one (at least that i know of) ever blamed bush for the WTC bombing, and no one but airport security and immigration could have stopped this from happening.
"This is the day after which the money you earn goes to you, not the
government. This year, tax freedom day was April 11th. That's the
earliest
it has been since 1991. It's latest day ever was May 2nd, which occurred
in
2000. Notice anything special about those dates?"
The first one is my birthday. WOOHOO still didnt see that tax freedome day.
"Bush paid $250,000 in taxes this year; Kerry paid $90,000. Does that
sound
right? The man who wants to raise your taxes obviously has figured out a
way to avoid paying his own."
Like JDM said, his wife is rich, not him.
I cant stand this bullshit Propaghanda that goes around and is spread more by Dumbasses like you.

As I am still here, Education has gotten worse. I got a small grant last year and this year I recieved no grant at all. I have to foot all the money out of my pocket.
I had to pay for all my schooling with no grants, and that was while Clinton was in office.

I don't remember any felonies either... I just remember the stealing of our newest nuclear weapons technology and selling it to the Chineese.

Well... I'm not gonna start calling people names here... After all:
1) It's against forum rules
2) I'm not 7
I have been to 3 schools over 5 years. Concordia University was almost full ride for Music. I busted ass in High School with Music, and it paid off. I receieved a Pell Grant, Self Loan, and numerous scholarships. I was in my parent's tax braket. COST: $15,000 for one sememster
I dropped out of Concordia, and went to Brown Institute, where I received another Pell Grant the next year. I also received another grant, which for the life of me, I cannot remember the name. I also took out two loans through TCF. I was still in my parent's tax braket. COST: $22,000 for two years.
I am now enrolled at Century College. I received a Pell Grant and another Self Loan. My tuition is only $1200 a semester this time.
I'm sorry you're having such a hard time paying for school 92tsi... I'm not gonna call you a dumbass, (Which by the way Tom, I would expect more outta you), but I'm just gonna state what I know. I live in a building in Dinkytown with 1200 other students. I live with 2 other students. The ones I live with also received Gov't Grants, and other programs to aid in school. They all go to the U, and they are both Seniors. They have never NOT received help from the Gov't.
As for my misinformation, OK, so maybe I don't know everything, but I wasn't telling everyone I did. I was giving my opinion on the statement made in the first part of the thread.
Please stop the direct member bashing. If you wanna talk shit, here's my number:

"Clinton spends 77 billion on war in Serbia - good...

John did good with this one.
We have not spent 200 yet as John said... only 120 billion.. only haha...
Anyway so we can spend close to 80 billion under clinton and no one gives a rats ass why? That war was not even nearly close to Iraq. Thats rediculous.
"Clinton refuses to take custody of Bin Laden - good...
World Trade Centers fall under Bush - bad..."
No one (at least that i know of) ever blamed bush for the WTC bombing, and no one but airport security and immigration could have stopped this from happening.
^^ Then WTF is the 9/11 panel investigating?? They are blaming bush becuase he didnt prevent it. Go get some knowledge before you type!
YEA and dont bash people TOM, just because you have a problem doesnt mean you have to shut down this thread.
John- You think ever student should get grants and loans and free money everywhere? I dont beleive in constant welfare, its wrong and most people abuse it. Not saying you do or anything like that, Im just against it. Scholarships are fine but not everyone can get massive amounts of money and then say "yay for the government they are cool they give me money."
If you haven't been to Iraq, or haven't known someone who has,I don't know how you would comment on whether or not it's a good idea.
If this is propoganda bullshit, then I suppose your decisions on your vote will have NOTHING to do with Micheal Moore, or the news, or the debates, or commercials, or advertisments, or other people.
Propoganda, although used to stretch the truth, are a fact we have to deal with. It's just a way to get your opinion out there.
Good for you guys for having such strong feelings about your political beliefs. That's what this election is all about anyway. Our generation is thought to NOT care. I think this thread is a good example that we do.
Just keep it clean.
I respect everyone on this site. (Maybe Tom a little less ;) ) jk Tom...
Let's try to keep it clean here.
PS, thanks for e-mailing my mother, Tom. It ment a lot, and she mentioned it the other day.
JDM- I do not see how you saved money under the Bush administration for college. You switch schools. Tuition is different prices depending on where you go. I work full time year round at ACE Hardware so I can afford my car (which I cannot) and pay for school. I had a similar income and the same school. In a somewhat constant medium, I have lost my grant.
Peter- I do not believe that everyone should get grants. I am just trying to use my experiences to show that not everyone has been helped by Bush as far as education is concerned. I believe we need to change our policies as far as grants are issued.
My dad has been out of work for probly 5 years now. My mom is supporting the family under her own income at ~$30-40,000/year. She has been at her job for 35 years now and has OK job security. I only applied for the FAFSA grant. According to FAFSA, my parents should be able to afford to pay me $9000/ year for college in family support. How the hell is that supposed to work? We can afford to give me 25% of the family income for college? I also have a twin brother who is also going to college at the same time. He is in the same boat. According to the government, our family is supposed to give up half of our $30-40,000 income per year to support us in school. That is where I see a problem in the government education process. We need to make more strict requirements for the people applying for the grants. Now, we give out a little money to a lot of people. Hell, I was kicked off it this year along with my brother. We do not recieve any grant money. I am forced to work 35-40hrs/ week so I can fund going to school. Any of you college kids know how hard it is to take 16-17 credits per semester and have to work at the same time. There is no free time. You can ask my friends how frugal I am right now. I try not to spend any money as I need to save it for tuition next january.
I may come back later and respond to some of your friends claims.
