I'm trying to decide if I want to lower it at all, it already scrapes a bit on my driveway.

As long as its only the rubber, that's designed to hit and flex.

How much can you drop on stock bolts?

I dropped mine about an inch I'd say, but there was room to go further, maybe 1.5-2 max.

C7's have about an inch of adjustment; .5 up or down from factory height.

Wow, that's more than I thought. I think I'll do about an inch tomorrow as well.
Thanks.

I do remember it being pretty high to start with though, so who knows if it was at factory height to start with. Regardless, there is a lot of adjustment. You can always shave the pad a bit too for a little more drop.

Well, I chickened out and didn't lower it. Brought it to Jeff and had it aligned so it drives nice and straight. Bah, I'm old and it's low enough already. :D
Also got around to working on the stereo a bit. It's a non-Bose system with an aftermarket bluetooth deck. The factory 10" door woofers really blew so I replaced them with some nice 6.5" Alpine components. Got some bass back but still needs a sub. I'll get around to that shortly.
