Got 'er done Friday morning at 2:30am, reminded me of the inevitable shootout thrashes back in the day. Got up and headed up to Brainerd for the weekend. Definitely happy, it runs and drives fantastic. I just have a couple small things to touch up but it's 95% there. Now onto the mods. :D

Thanks! Still not in love with the silver, but it's growing on me. Wouldn't be terribly hard to do a full color change to anything I want. I kinda miss dark blue. :D

Got a few new pieces this week. Picked up a regular painted targa roof from a local on CL so I'll have both tops, and ordered a new wheel to replace the damaged one up front. It looks like the Alignment guy is moving to a new location at the end of the month or so, so I'll see if I can get in there Monday or Tuesday to get a proper alignment as well.

One thing I'll say, it sure is nice having air conditioning and cruise control in your sports car. Didn't care about those things with the GSX that much, but now that I have them again, I wondered how I did without. I must be getting old. :D

Nice score on the painted top! Black I assume?

Correct, faded black, soon to be blade silver since I have plenty of extra paint. Cheaper than the ones on ebay too.

Get your ride height bolts set exactly where you want them before the alignment. I went from stock with alignment in-spec, to lowered on the stock bolts and it threw specs outside the factory range.
