No @ SRT8. I've driven a heads/cam/built trans/rear end SRT8 jeep and while it was quick for a heavy suv.. it was still not that fast and the handling doesn't even come close to the evo. I am also not a big suv fan anyway though.

Even on e85, I've been over 21mpg on all my fillups so far. People saying 15-17 on pump gas are on the stock tune (very rich) and flooring it everywhere...

Pretty much spot on here. Apples and Oranges.

But as far as new cars go, there isn't a car on the market for under 100k that handles as well as an Evo.

Except a used porsche? Or viper? or a GTR? :)

All faster, none handle as well. Also talking about new (or new at the time) and under 100k

So what you're saying is you would be like most EVO owners? Talking about how fast the broken garage ornament is?

hold the phone.. there are level headed evo owners? I thought you had to have a nasty case of small man syndrome to own one or lack of driving skills.

BTW I was kidding, every damn time im on the mitsustyle it's JDM ALTEZZA etc. I was giving him shit, I was originally giving you shit before he wanted a piece of the action, get in line. nutswingers are funny though, I'll put money on him owning a subaru.. the asshat'ery is obivous.

did this guy piss you off?

lancer evolution

A car for men who are not man enough to handle a real muscle car, such as the Dodge Charger. Most often, this car is for men who might be married, but they still spend 5-10% of their days questioning whether they should become a homosexual.

Men who buy these cars are often thought of as "gay" or "stupid" by men who buy American muscle cars.
Timothy wanted to buy an American muscle car until he was turned off by his sales experience with the store that sells them, simply because he is a dumb ass and will believe all the bullshit the salesmen at the Mitsubishi dealership. This is why he bought the Lancer Evolution.

Tim: Do you like my Lancer Evo dude?
Steve: No. It's a girl's car.
Tim: What?
Steve: You should have bought a Dodge Charger.
Tim: But this comes with a standard transmission and it's All Wheel Drive. I can't get a standard transmission on a Dodge Charger.
Steve: Yes, it does have those accessories, but it also is a vehicle for homosexuals. Do you enjoy penis on a regular occasion, or do you deny your preference for penis and believe the bullshit your therapist tells you?

DB is still around? LOL

Holy shit the post above is amazing!!!

LMFAO. Of course an evo owner would say a GTR is not as good in the corners. Yeah there twice as much, but hands down stock for stock the GTR stomps an evo!

OP just get an Jeep SRT8, dont want ya to get all homosexual on us.

Can we chill with the constant sales pitching?

If you're going to pass that on as fact, can you site some references? Here's a reference I was looking at, Evo's not even on the list.

I'm getting conflicting info on the fuel systems, are they capable of supporting the max the stock turbo can handle? With the X, how strong are the internals? They use a semi closed deck with sleeves unlike the caliber block isn't it? How strong are the sleeves? Internals stout or suspect?
