The stock fuel lines should be fine. The bottle neck will be the banjo bolt coming out of the filter. Getting a new feedline that ditches that banjo bolt should be enough, I'd just run -6. For more reassurance you could upgrade to a higher flowing filter while you are at it too. That's how I ran with my 62mm setup, worked just fine and isn't too rough on the wallet.

Looks good Nick! Going to be an awesome project!
Let me know if you ever want any help.

Thanks those are the small things I wanna get figured out while the motor is being put together.

I'm currently pulling the black stuff out of my old shell to put in the new one then just wait for parts. My walbro 450 should be here by the end of the week so I might install that over the weekend, put in all my gauges, and black interior.
Am I going to be fine with the stock rail stock lines? I have an feed lines from the filter but that's it as of now. Also I plan on staying on plugs and wires just gonna get a spark box like a dynatex? Don't know how to spell it lol

I'll let ya know for sure. I'll need help with the BAP for sure and now maybe running an lines.
Thanks

I'd leave the lines unless a 2g has extra small lines. Plenty of people have made over 600 on stock lines,

You can calculate pressure drop across the lines and then the head pressure needed to push it up to the fuel rail and determine if your pump is enough. If it is similar in nature to a 3000gt/stealth at around 11' of 5/16" feed line, you are looking around 4psi pressure drop at 448 lb/hr of flow, with a velocity of 4.81 feet per second (starting to get very swirly)
How much power are you looking to push with your fuel pump? The walbro 450 should be better than my DW301 and my DW301 +1000cc's should support around 600AWHP without getting a hardwire around 35psi base fuel pressure or 25psi boost pressure (flow rating at 60psi).
Simply put, you'll only need lines if you want to help your fuel pump out. With injectors that size, I'd be more worried about return line sizing and fuel pressure regulator sizing to ensure you can get the baseline fuel pressure to a level of sanity.

Yeah I think with this pump the BAP is really not needed but we will se. I know scheides uses one on his 400. Also came with the car so I didn't buy it. The line to the fpr is an not sure size and the return is an but not to the tank.
So you think I should just get a an an line back to the tank and leave the feed alone.
Thanks guys for the help already. I wanna really put the money where it's needed. So tgis is definitely helpful.
As far as power 600hp on Shanes dyno would be cool

I think the stock feed line should be ok for that level. I wouldn't mess with the return until you get the fuel system working, then see how low you can get for base pressure. If you can low 40s with the walbro 450, then no need for a bigger return.
Is the new walbro 450 the same physical size as the walbro 400? Do you have flow rate comparisons between the two? Or is it just 50 more lph than the 400? If so I may be tempted to purchase one myself, it's a direct replacement for my OEM pump (same dimensions).

V8Killa huh? We can test that :)
Kidding, looks like this is going to be a sweet build. Best of luck!
