We're working on a solution guys...hope for the best, plan for the worst. Lunch is in Hayward, that will give you a general idea of the route we're taking. If someone is willing to assist in the mapping of E85 locations please PM me and I'll get you the exact route.

Well, the trunk of my car is going to double as a fuel tanker. The closest station to Howard is at 241 US Highway 8, Almena, Wisconsin. From there it’s 119 to 135 miles depending on the route you take the rest of the way. I highly recommend that we stop here. Does this fit in the route?

Bummer.. I will take the room
Revobasher....do you want to check in using our last name or do you want to me to call & put in your name? I can keep it held still using my card.

We are bummed not to be going. Mark is doing great. If he could drive the car, we would have considered still going. Another reason I need to get practice driving the EVO ;-)

Our other reason we can't make it is because we have two foster boys now. By fall cruise, we will have a babysitter lined up!!!!

Have fun everyone!

I'm going to alter the route to make that Almena station happen. Plan accordingly to do 225 miles after that though, so bring as much as you need to make it. There are no other stations anywhere near the route so this is the best we can do.

I think I am out then. I'll never make it 225 miles and I am not goin to drive around with a ton of fuel in the trunk. :(

What? It's not like you are going to have fuel splashing all over. LOL

I will carry 3-5 gallons for someone, I won't need it for 225 miles. I planned on putting the fuel canisters in boxes and sealing them so it doesn't stink up my car. I should have enough bags in the back to keep them from sliding around.

My wife has an iphone and she believes she can get an app to find e85 stations.

Thanks for putting in the extra work to get the route altered!

225 should be easy enough. I usually get 200 miles out of my tank, but even if some one averages 15mpg they should be able to make it 225 miles on a full tank plus 5 gallons.
