So glad I took Friday/Monday off around the cruise!

I am guessing the extra day of recovery will be most needed haha.

My backup car is coming now...06 vette...better than nothing, trying to be like asshanson! Snow and a convertible, awesome.

Haha nice, almost as many vettes as DSMs going now! Yea I was kind of worried about it being cold up there still, will be lots of tire spinning I guess.

*E85 ALERT*

E85 stations may be a problem! Calling around to stations listed online as having E85...turns out they do NOT. We can not guarantee E85 stations will be available between the meeting spot and Duluth Sunday morning on the trek home. What this means is you MUST carry enough E85 to go 315 miles, assuming you arrive at the Saturday morning meeting spot fully topped off. Scheides plans to carry 10 gallons in his trunk which will be more than plenty for him, but please be conservative when doing the math and make sure you have enough. We may encounter some stations along the way, but I can NOT guarantee it.

Here is an E85 station right next to the meeting spot:
Store 306
4167 Ball Rd NE
Blaine, MN, 55449
Phone: 763-785-4237

You MUST arrive by 9am SHARP fully topped off, do not arrive then expect us to wait around while you go fill up.

I also did some phone checking and it looks like Kracka is correct. The Cenex in Ashland use to, but discontinued it due to little demand.

It looks like the closest place is Superior WI, which is about 65 miles away.

I will bring 10 gallons as well of which I'll need 4 of them to get to Superior.

I can drive to TX and back on E85. What's the route? 35 up to Duluth? Then over to Ashland? I don’t plan on bringing enough e85 for 300+ miles. Fuck that. A little more research is required, I drove to Ely this Jan on corn. Hopefully not too many stations quit selling it.

E85 verified in stock at:

Holiday Stationstore
9314 West Skyline Parkway, Proctor, MN
It’s the spirit mountain exit.

I need to plan 1 more stop around Hinckley and we should be good it that’s the route there.

Typically the route is backroads as those are the "fun" roads. That being said I have no idea how we are going about getting there.

I didn't realize that it’s only 143 miles between E85 in Blane and E85 in Duluth on 35, easy. No problem. I'm going to bring 10 gallons as well in the event of other routes home or getting there.

We're working on a solution guys...hope for the best, plan for the worst. Lunch is in Hayward, that will give you a general idea of the route we're taking. If someone is willing to assist in the mapping of E85 locations please PM me and I'll get you the exact route.
