If the head checks out and has happened a couple times now, maybe the block needs to be checked out. Good luck, hope it's back together soon.

the head was decked, cleaned, valve job,ect when the 1st motor died on the dyno when the oil pressuare sender blew out. The bottom end in it now is from Steve he had it in his talon for 1000 miles or so.
This is the first time it has happened with the rebuilt head and the new bottom end.
just have to try to get it back toghter asap so I have a car to drive. today and tomorrow I am driving my dads miata then I am off for 3 days then will have to share aly's car

Top timing cover or lower? I have a lower one I've got to sell if you'd be interested.
Sucky to hear about your bad luck! At least you sound like you're already taking it apart and trying to get it back on the road quickly!
