But i thought you were against government spending? Tax cuts are Government spending.
It's been a close race, but, this could take the top spot for stupidest shit you've said yet.

Explain it to us dumb folk so we can be enlightened.

If you cut taxes, you have less money coming in. So therefore the government creates a bigger deficit by taking in less money, and being able to spend even less on our infrastructure where we absolutely need to put money. Make sense cupcake, or do we need to go back to 3rd grade math.

Tax-cuts are NOT the same thing as government spending. Tax less, spend less, perfect.

Why do we even have to spend as much as we do? The government is in over its head in spending by funding frivolous and unnecessary things and spending far more than necessary for the simplest of goods and services. I'm all for less government, but the checks and balances are obviously not being checked and are not balancing. They need to take a page out of Toyota's book on what being lean is. A SOX audit probably wouldn't hurt, either.

Tax less, therefore you must spend less. Seems like a win/win if you ask me.

It's been proven that when you cut taxes, tax revenue actually goes up because people feel more comfortable in spending the expendable dollars they now have. This makes a strong economy.

The basis of a strong economy is not supposed to be founded on government spending, but on private enterprise, or did you skip that day in 3rd grade when the rest of the class learned that, cupcake?

They would have plenty of already collected tax money to use on infrastructure if they would stop wasting it on entitlement programs and handing out money to illegal "baby factories" who are milking the system. The money has always been there for infrastructure projects, but it gets mismanaged and spent on way over priced projects by the people you put so much trust in, the government. And if you followed the money you would find that those pork/pet projects are some how connected to the very same person who pushed for it so they can receive monies from it for themselves. Can you say, "conflict of interest"?

Lets look at infrastructure:
They collect taxes from the sale of gasoline, they collect sales taxes on vehicles purchased new and through every resale of that same vehicle for the life of the vehicle, they collect taxes on your vehicle again if you move to another state with the vehicles you already own and paid taxes on, they collect taxes on motor vehicles through annual/semi annual registration renewals (although you still own it and nothing has changed), they collect taxes through motor vehicle inspection and brake tags, and the list goes on. All these tax dollars are supposed to take care of the infrastructure of roads, bridges, etc. In Louisiana a basic vehicle registration renewal is about $35, but if you have a personalized license plate like I do on Vicious, it cost me $75 for the same renewal. Why? The plates already stamped, it's already on my car, there's nothing different about how the system tracks it, whether the plate says ABC123 or Vicious, its just numbers and letters to the MV computer system. And lets not forget the the truckers who get taxed, fee'd and permitted to death just trying to make a living with their rigs. So where is all the money that has been collected and why is it not being used for it's intended purposes, cupcake?

What they need to do is cut taxes and stop all the wasteful spending that happens everyday in government. We as a country can't afford the spending Obama Inc keeps trying to push through. You know, those stupid projects that cost plenty of money like turtle tunnels, lighted frog tunnels so frogs can see where the tunnel is, a train rail system so the rich folks in San Fransisco can take a scenic ride through to the fine wine country, a gazillion digital converter boxes for outdated TV's that you could buy all day long for $40, but cost the government $150 each, and so on.

Here's a great list of waste http://coburn.senate.gov/public//index.cfm?a=Files.Serve&File_id=e1e0624e-d02a-42d4-9dbb-f5b9f21b3572 .

Ever heard of use it or lose it? That's a policy in government where you ask for and receive a budget for your department. If at the end of the year you have money left over you must spend it or have your next years budget reduced by that amount. My sister works for a government agency and every year she blows the left over money on crap she doesn't need to be able to keep and increase her budget for the next year. It happens across the board.

What about the wasteful spending that goes on in Washington, cupcake?

Tom, if you feel so strongly about higher taxes and government spending, you could voluntarily send in every dollar you have left over at the end of the day on your tax return at the end of the year. Or do you just send in what you have to like the rest of the Big Government/High Taxes crowd of hypocrites, cupcake?

You should see what it is in MN :) Depending on the age of the car it ranges from $39 to $289 just for the annual renewal! When we moved to TX it cost far less to get a new driver's license, new plates, registration sticker, and inspection sticker than annual tab renewal alone in MN.
