They seemed like it was hit or miss with them being strict. I didn't get a single talking to and Ron got the boot right away like Shane said.

Apparently they don't look twice a shitty looking 2g.

That is based on NHRA rules which is what the track's insurance uses.

That's why I only ran 11.5's haha

Kinda glad neither cars were ready, I wouldn't have been to happy to try and jam on the car to get it ready and then get kicked right away.

I can never drive at the track.

I guarantee that I'll suck for a while...I'm a natural at nothing. Once the car is sorted I'll start driving it. haha.

Swifty while I hope you do get something together, it isn't always luck and just throwing a goal out there because you saw someone do it with a car "similarly" equipped doesn't mean its easy.

You can't help but think he'd be better off with a smaller setup and get some passes in. A part of me respects what he's doing, given his budget. I'm all-or-nothing when it comes to some things, so I can empathize.

Ha, I hope you are being sarcastic.

It was the first time I'd watched drag racing. I had no idea that car had that much power until Scheides told me. Holy crap!

It sucks for Ron though who went 11.0 his first pass on the stock turbo and got kicked out.

Why isn't there just a 'slow down' warning, and he could turn the boost down or something?

Great time! Though I wish I could have done better. I struggled all weekend with my 1 -2 shift, which killed my times. I did have a best trap of 133 though, so it's still runing alright!

On my last pass (befoe I lost in eliminations) while I was staged, one of the Puerto Rican guys pointed out that 2 of my transmission bolts were loose!! Tightened them up, we'll see if she shifts better now. If not, tranny will probably get sent out to be refreshed.

But I had a blast. Got to meet Dave H with the Supra so that was nice. To anyone who as doubting that they wanted to camp in the beginning, I bet they are all glad they did :) Camping was pretty damn fun!

Great event, can't wait until next year.

^Thank you! Getting to just race and not work was freaking EPIC awesome. I can't thank you guys enough for just being there to let people racing just focus on driving. So much fun, you converted a drag-only fp black owner to a stock-turbo loving autoX hound. Good work!

yeah not having to work makes for an awesome event. unfortunately i had to work, for the entire weekend. But that’s ok, i had a BLAST!

I'll have results posted up soon for the auto-x.

Next year will be better. Our club had another auto-x event to run that day back in Wisconsin, otherwise we would have brought our display.

Where was all the big track guys? The open lapping day on the road course had a very small turnout. It did make for LOTS of track time.

Cant wait for next year!!!

Did anyone get pics at the auto-x? I had the black on black evo (with the wing).

A big handful of local Evo owners (myself included) and other track nuts were at Iowa Speedway for the ChumpCar race, and MAC had an autocross in Eau Claire with CVSCC.
