^that was harsh, but for real. I'll be here in san antonio till nov. then I'm moving to ft. sill/lawton, OK so i will be 3.5 hrs away.

Well back in the days of the "36th avenue race team" we all helped each other out. :) It wasn't a dig against Chris, just a thought about how quickly time can change things.

Change in plans: we're walking away from the house deal.

The inspection just turned up too many issues with the house for something only 13 years old and the seller has no money to make the repairs on time.

The couple times that I've been in the Dallas area it was way too humid for me. I may very well end up in TX but I'm thinking Houston, maybe one of the burbs on the coast.

Did you already end the apt lease? You cant go month to month?

Dallas is actually, on average, less humid than it is here. If you hate humidity though you should probably reconsider Houston since thats about as humid as it gets.

We're currently doing month-to-month, but we've already scheduled it to end. We might just end up renting an apt down there for a few months while we get settled into the city and start up the home search again.
