Nope. Not when the turbo was gone, and PTE didn't respond back to calls or emails from me or bill at MAP. Not like I'm a balla like you guys, and can just go buy another 1,200 dollar turbo to throw on the car ;)

Thanks Curt! Just trying to take it in stride and keep this thing on the road as my DD. I added a second alky jet for extra cooling and octane to help keep it reliable, but I can't help but think from time to time about just leaving the alky off, selling the kit, and using the money towards a nice double-din headunit/navi system and just keep the thing super-duper reliable. 375+whp is a freaking fun car!
These thoughts go away about 1.2 seconds after I flip the alky back on and Mr. Hyde takes over :D

dude, leave it on...
OOOORRRR!!!
Sell, it, get your navi, and tune on e85! You'll make the same/more power, and cheap gas, cool, reliable! Problem solved!

He tried E85 and put down crappy power, that was the start of all his problems ;)

E85 is a PITA to get for me, and while it may not have directly caused my original HG failure, I had more issues when running it than when I was not running it. PITA + sudden issues = a turn off for me! Once I get on the dyno I think I'll be really happy where the car is as it sits.

I still need a ride in this thing, maybe at the fall dyno day we can exchange rides for each other?

Sounds like a plan, if not sooner!
