Why don't they just make the phenolic spacers in metal? I didn't even know they were made in plastic. I still have one sitting around from QPR back in the day.

What metal do you suggest they use? It must not transmit heat while being slightly crushable. I'm happy with my "plastic" one, its held up just fine to plenty of miles and a few auto-x events.

Heh I've never been to the track and dunno if I ever will. With this southbend clutch and it's ability to fuse to the flywheel, the car doesn't get launched. Maybe a little ghey, but the car is my DD anyways :) Plus, I prolly wouldn't be as concerned about ET as I would mph. Either way, thanks for the vote of confidence you foker! :P

heh, thanks for the vote of confidence swifty! What can I say, I'm good at breaking shyte. It's just a DSM afterall ;) How's that turbo coming btw? Notice my car broke and I got it back on the road in less than a week :D
