Anna wrote some REALLY good letters imho!
Dear Ms. Higgins,
I am writing this email to ask you to support H.F. No. 1071. I am fully
in support of converting to a single licnese plate on Minnesota vehicles.
The state would save money by only needing to produce 1 license plate per
vehicle. The money we save from converting to one license plate would be
better used on our roadways and transportations systems.
We will also produce less waste for the environment by cutting the number
of license plates in half. Being that this is Earth Day I urge you to
remember the impact this will have on our earth. It is another way
Minnesota can make a difference.
Last month I was in a car accident where I was rear-ended and the main
damage to my car was from where the screws of the front license plate of
the other car scraped my bumper. Had there not been a front license plate
on this car it would have cost much less to fix the damage as the bumper
would only have needed to be reset instead of completely replaced. So by
removing front license plates I believe the citizens on Minnesota would be
able to reduce collision damage and therefore insurance rates.
Please take these comments into consideration and please support H.F. No.
1071.
Sincerely,
