We watched as a republican FUCKED this country over for 8 fucking years, and now that we are actually making progressive steps to change the way our country is and ignorant people come up with stupid lies.

Made me LOL. I wonder how much longer the dems have to blame the US' problems on Bush?

I really don't understand how people don't think Bush had anything to do with any of this shit. No, he isn't responsible for it all, but the shit he did didn't help, and you can't sit back and say he did a good job after he got out of office. Hello, DEFICIT!!!!

And the reason why people are jumping on the "I wish I voted for McCain" wagon, is because like all Americans, they want shit done now, infact, they wanted it yesterday. Their just whining because Obama hasn't changed anything yet, and it's only been 3 fucking months! Oh no!

Has....has everyone unanimously forgotten about the atrocities committed by 8 years of Bush and his cronies?

As a combat veteran of this Iraqi war, I demand accountability.

Give Obama time to un-do what has been done.

-Did not punish those who were responsible for our vulnerabilities which allowed 911 to happened (in fact, he promoted most everyone involved with air defense/homeland defense)
-Attacked Iraq (who did not attack/threaten us)
-Used Haliburton as the primary contractor for iraq(i believe chany is either a director or owner of this company)
-Approved/did not pervent investment deregulation
-No Child left behind act (monumental FAIL)

Look at the above chart and tell me: Do you think there is any correlation between US administration and how well our country does..

Remember, I am not saying bush is the only reason we are now screwed, I am saying he is the ceremonial figurehead to a whole group of individuals who is responsible for our countries' success.

a.k.a. bush administration

And here we are with Obama who is letting people go from Guantanamo and is continuing on with NCLB.

Torture camps=bad
Obama closing them=good

Personally I believe in torture to save our nation from imminent attack....but lets torture 'em on our own turf. If we are going to be evil, lets not beat around the bush.

Oh, and NCLB is NOT endorsed by Obama, he is for radically reforming it. I personally think they should just scrap the whole project, but so long as Obama recognizes that is it failing thats cool with me.

First off, deficits aren't bad.

I'll bet you didn't know that even though tax rates (for every tax payer) were lower under President Bush tax receipts expressed in total dollars were higher than they had been in years. This meant that even though we were steadily growing our deficit by a good margin, our GDP was growing fast enough to keep up.

Growing our GDP at the same or faster rate than our deficits means that our deficit can be 500 trillion dollars and it wont matter so long as our GDP is at a safe level above that.

I think it's funny that you say people are mad because President Obama hasn't changed anything yet. It seems to me that he has done quite a bit more in his first 100 days than most, if not all Presidents (and I sure wouldn't argue that what he has done is good for the American people in the long term).
