Heh, political arguments always bring out worst in people.
Apparently I'm a bad person because I don't like our president.

Polls like these dont necessarily reflect the presidents job, but the overall countries mood at the time the poll is taken.
That's something that I agree with. That applies to all polls, whether the conclusion agrees with your position or not.

Ummmm, the mood of the country is in direct relation to how they feel about the president's job at this point in time. And as of right now, IT SUCKS!!!
But I don't want Obie to change a thing. Christmas will come early in November.

All democrats do is spend money, where do they think the money they spend comes from anyways (well besides borrowing it from China)? People want all these government programs and bailouts, it's our (taxpayers) money to begin with.
Then every time there is something happening in another country, we have to rush over and spend millions or billions of dollars that we don't even have to help them out. I agree with helping people in need, but it's foolish when we can't really afford it. I think this would keep happening no matter who the president is though.
We need someone who's a normal guy that lives modestly and isn't rich, then they would actually know what the value of a dollar is and know how the real world works. With the way campaigning is, this is probably never going to even come close to happening though.

did we forget about clinton? he was a democrat he turned a deficit into a 560 billion dollar SURPLUS.
then came bush, the republican. he turned that surplus into an 11 TRILLION dollar deficit. he spent more than 20 times the amount of money we actually had
seems to me recent history is the exact opposite of what you have stated

Don't expect armchair republicans to have their facts straight. Actually, don't expect anyone posting on the internet to have their facts straight.
edit: lmao, this thread is funny, I'm really glad I didn't let myself get caught up in it so far. You guys have some of the dumbest ideas.
jrohner, for example wants poor guys running the country. Great idea! You know Bush v2.slow doubled the presidential salary? Yeah, from 200,000 to 400,000. If I was president, I'd do that shit for fucking free.
And to people like Matt and maybe vicious (sorry brah, I don't know your real name), when you say stuff like, "your leader" or "he's not my president" or anything to that effect, you are just chiseling away at the integrity of this country. grow the motherfuck up. George bush was my president as much as he was yours. I didn't like him, most people didn't, but it doesn't change the facts. If you are a citizen of this country, which most of you take for granted because you were born here, the president of the US is your prez. sheesh.

I just searched for "deficit obama" and that is the first link. I'll search further, sheesh. All sources are biased one way or another. It's a Washington Post graph.
