Did you read anything I said? The real facts will be on factcheck.org You sound like you are on the Conservative FOX bandwagon. I myself like real facts, and not have to watch both sides of the argument and not have to sort through all the bullshit both sides throw out there.

I will check out what you are talking about and yes I'm a conservative. Fox News is way more balanced however than CNN or NBC. I will admit it isn't super balanced but a lot more fair than those other straight liberal only stations.

Edit - BTW no one even had enough time to read the 1,075 page Spendulus before voting on it, what ever happened to Obama giving the American people 48 hours before voting happens to view it online?

Yet another broken promise...

we need to fix the US and not send money every were in the world to help them out

x2. we need to worry US first. They can handle that, they've been at it for centuries. Yeah we should be concerned, but what is giving them 900 million going to do? it's like giving Iraq and Afganistan money.....?

Honnestly what is 900 Million when we just spent 800 (B) Billion?

With the interest it will be about 1.3 Trillion dollars, not to mention inflation is going to go through the roof since we can't borrow the money from anyone so we will just have to print it our selves.

Edit - Even if this truely does create 4.5 million jobs with the spendulus like Obama has been preaching, which it won't, it will cost the tax payers over $300,000 a job. More importantly it won't even start to create a significant amount of jobs until 2011... Which makes me wonder why it was SOOOO important to pass it ASAP. It was so that Obama could give them no time to read through it before voting so that he could sneak a bunch of earmarks in there.

What would these earmarks be that obama is sneaking in? Im curious. And it was important to pass it because if we had waited till 2010 to pass it, it wouldnt kick in till 2012, and so forth. The economy doesnt just bounce back in a month. It takes years for any big change to have a full effect on the economy. Especially when it is so down.

Btw, I also want to point out one more major flaw in Dundars argument. The president doesnt generally slip in ear marks into the bill, if he even writes the bill. Its Congress and the Senate who add and retract stuff from a proposed bill. Obama says, I want 700 billion used for economic stimulus. I want it to go here, here, and here, and at these times, in this way. Here you go Senate. Then the Senate says, No, no, yes, yes, no, lets throw in this earmark for my babies mama's state so she can get a job, then congress gets it and does the same. Why wont people ever pin the blame on where it deserves to be pinned.

People losing their jobs are losing them because the CEO's of their companies would rather keep their 400k a year salary, then be a man, and drop a 100k a year off their income and save 30 jobs. Its retarded.

After 8 years of good old "conservation" (lol), we have a new deficit of over 10 trillion dollars. Doing the basic math that is double the deficit in 2000. Are you really arguing over $900 million going to non-governmental charities, that will rebuild hospitals and schools? Really?

Amen.
