I've seen 18x9's with 275's on a 3S, bones stock no rolling or mods.
I hate you.

Just be happy you have a car that's 500lbs lighter with the same size tires on it. :madashell: I'm hoping to get by with just some rolling, I'l cut later when I go to wider tires.

I am 99% confident that you can just roll your front fender lips and be golden :drive1:
Just depends upon how low your car is.

Negative camber is your friend.

I ran about -2.6 in the front last year, it might have been a little much, but my tires wore fairly evenly.
My electrical bits for the intake manifold controller showed up yesterday, I'm working on building it today. Need to run to radio shack right now and hope they have the right size capacitors, I bought some wrong ones.

You have the day off? Nicely done sir.
Oh, 31% now w/o buying a car on gt4 :).

It just seems wrong to put a real tire (RE-01R or slick) on a cheap cast wheel. I'm all for either the Rota or the 5Z for street use, but think of the cost if one failed at an event. That's my two cents. That being said, if you really have your heart set of 17" cast wheels; I'd say at least take a gander at the Gram Lights 57D (http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/cgi2/english/getWheelItem.cgi?maker=GRAM&model=040_57D)
