Questions about a small 16g...
All I need for install on a 2g with a stock mani are the j-pipe, gaskets, and new oil line, right?
Also, for porting, with what, and how difficult is it? Will the turbo need to be ported to work?

Dude, JUMP on that deal!
No, it doesn't need to be ported to work, but it'd probably help! :D

As in, things don't line up perfectly inside, or the airflow just blows with the 2g mani?
The question with the lining up perfectly would raise questions about gaskets, would it not?

As in don't spaz (LOL) about it, it'll line up just fine. If you port it you will get better airflow. If you don't, it's not a big deal (esp since you're running stock boost).

See, I'm not the one flipping shit over all this, that'd be my dad, and he doesn't want me putting something that "doesn't fit" on the car.
I'd be happy with it, personally.

It fits it fits it fits, do you want me to say it one more time?
I promise, it fits. The 16g uses a 7cm hotside, it bolts right up to your stock 2G manifold (get new gaskets btw!) and your stock o2 housing bolts right up to the turbine housing, and your exhaust follows suit.
The stock intake pipe fits right on the inlet.
The only snag, as previously discussed, is the oil line and the compressor outlet. It points up instead of down and to the side, and this is what a J pipe is for.
A simple google search reveals pics of this. Look at the pics here:

Except that blue coupler you're gonna wanna face it towards your SMIC.
Seriously, it'll work. If you run into any snags installing it, you have everyone on this board (more specifically everyone you sat at the table with last night!) at your disposal to work through any issues.
You want this (or something similar):

Or go this route and order the line separate:

I have a 14B-20G stainless oil feed line I'd throw in with it for an extra $10. (filter housing to turbo)
All you would need is a Jpipe

^^^ hell of a deal for all that, those lines are like $50 new. Buy this immediately, also I'm sure someone local has a jpipe, you can have this together by the end of the weekend.
I'll even offer up some help if you need it.
