Anything produced in Superior, WI is the devil....guess where the Amsoil factory/HQ is? If you are just looking for a cheap oil for a DD or car that isn't pushed too hard, Chevron Supreme and/or Motorcraft are pretty tough to beat.

And the Chevron can be had for cheap, most times.

...and you obviously. You've used both, besides the M1 leaking how did the engine like eack oil? Any observations regarding noise or performance?

have any of you heard of conklin products? i got this dvd from some one i worked with in louisiana during the hurrican repair. his commercial side used a roofing product from them but they also make lubes for auto among other things. i am going to watch it then if anyone want to see it i can send it to jet maybe he can post it in the video forum.

royal purple is a really good synthetic oil made for so called high perf engines. comes in all weights get it at checker or o'reilly's

How wrong you are actually. RP fluids have very good initial protection but their additive package wears out extremely quickly.

not what i hear and have seen in comparison charts from diff oil companies but charts and actual real world trials are diff. ill have to talk to my diff oil reps and get more info between them i guess.

You are a dumby, please read over what S2Kracka had already posted two years back about RP. Their products don't seem to be made for street driven cars.
