So, as some of you may know, a while ago I picked up a 92 Stealth TT for cheap. (thanks Joe M)

I put the tranny back in with a new clutch and output shaft, and had a running driving TT. It has higher miles (~142K now) but the body's not bad, it was mostly re-done after hitting a deer (before I got it) I put a bit over 6,000 miles on it, and took it to two road course events. Well, one and 1/8th road course events. The first was Mid America Motorplex. It had overheating issues and I had to take it easy. Next up was Road America. For those of you that don't know, Road America (RA) is a 4.x(2?) mile road course that's over in eastern Wisconsin. I got about 5 laps in and then... This \/ \/ \/ happened.

Needless to say the car was towed home. The biggest disappointment was I missed out on A LOT of track time. :drive1: I had installed a Koyo radiator and wired my fans full on for RA. I put the boost at waistgate pressure, just to be sure it didn't have any issues. I took 3 laps to make it to operating temp. 200 HP. I did pass a C5 with an owner that was driving conservatively, and hit at least 135 MPH 2-3 times per lap. I'm pretty sure the crank got broken as an after the fact thing. At the track, there was a hole in the block, as it made a nice puddle of oil where I parked to get towed off track. The motor still ran when I got it home, not making much noise, but with a bad vibration (no piston/rod). I started it to drive it to it's parking spot (no one to help push) and then it made a clunk and never turned over again.
So, instead of partying it up on new years I spent my time putting this in.

And my car's back to a running state. Yay!
