I thought emo music was the stuff from the late 80's early 90's like Diary by Sunny Day Real Estate, or Bivouac and 24hr Revenge Therapy by Jawbreak, and Milo Goes to College by the Descendants?
Not to mention everyone that "claimed" emo back then used to dress up like a bunch of spock kids.
Those were the days.
I feel old.
BTW, I still listen to Jawbreaker and they still kick ass! Dear You is known as their "sell out" record but I still think its one of their best! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a kind of poppy punk record, would be interested to see what the emo kids today think of the album.

Damn I wanna go to that concert... just listening to some LP and reminiscing the Metallica/LP concert. They are a great live band.

LP = awesome
Nickelback = total sellout crap that only sounds good drunk(sorry to the nickelback fans. Had to be said)
LP would be a great concert! Last concert I made it to was Foo Fighters and Weezer.
I know the feeling of missing music though. Just recently figured out I could put my old hd into an external hd case and access all my lost music again like a usb drive.
