It was a joke, but talking down to LP is like talking up a 2g NT eclipse.....

Green Day > LP

Green day has been around longer but
:sex020:
90% of green day's stuff is 3 chord based strums with flat lyrics. They are popular but nothing cutting edge.

Basic punk rock, I do not know why I like them so much. I like a few songs off the new LP album, and all the old stuff rocks for sure.

Green Day will always get play on my radio, especially the older stuff.

Some of the Warning album I am kind eh to, but everything else I can listen to all the time with no problem. Kerplunk and 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours are awsome then they hit it big in 94/95 with Dookie.

Emo is a fashion. If the band was around before emo was, they aren't emo. I'm also pretty much starting to think even emo music is just music, it just so happens that emo kids listen to it exclusively... like metal... used to be only kids who wore nothing but black listened to metal, but shit I barely wear black and listen to a ton of metal.

Also! Somewhere I Belong is a hell of a song to be missing from that album! That's like the anthem of the whole album, haha.

Emo music was so like... 3 years ago.

I'd like to say pretty much every song on LP's CD's are pretty decent, I don't know many other bands whose entire CD's are good.
