Here I was, IM'ing Hughes about how he needs to buy my extra set of Linkin Park tickets.....I will quote it here for historical correctness:

Chris H Cargill
2:13 still have those spare lp tix?
Chris Scheidecker
2:14 yup!
2:14 want them?
Chris H Cargill
2:14 how much for both?
Chris Scheidecker
2:14 hrm
2:14 hold on one sec, let me look how much I paid
Chris H Cargill
2:14 ok
Chris Scheidecker
2:15 $138
Chris H Cargill

2:16 GA would be awesome though, I wonder if I should just keep them
2:16 gah
Chris H Cargill

2:16 not sure if i want them that badly
Chris Scheidecker
2:16 but dude
2:17 I wanna heal
2:17 I wanna feal
2:17 what I thought was never real
2:17 I wanna let go of the pain I've held so long
2:17 !
Chris H Cargill
2:17 you have a tempting case
Chris Scheidecker
2:22 oh my god!!!!!
2:22 I just realized
2:22 I have had Meteora on my laptop for like 2 years
2:22 and the entire time, it has been missing track #2
2:22 no
2:22 #3
2:22 the song I just quoted
2:23 GAH!
Chris H Cargill
2:23 lol

AAAHHHHHHH! I cannot believe I have lived for 2 years w/o this song beating against my ear drums. How did this happen? I cannot even begin to imagine. I am now almost in tears, it is playing through my headphones and people at work will surely ask me if everything is ok.

I will only be able to respond: "the fault is my own, and the fault is my own!!!"

This is one of those amazingly aweful tragedies in life.....

Not another one of these fuck'n LP = EMO statements. I'm off to listen to Blake Lewis.

Emo is a fashion. If the band was around before emo was, they aren't emo. I'm also pretty much starting to think even emo music is just music, it just so happens that emo kids listen to it exclusively... like metal... used to be only kids who wore nothing but black listened to metal, but shit I barely wear black and listen to a ton of metal.

Also! Somewhere I Belong is a hell of a song to be missing from that album! That's like the anthem of the whole album, haha.

They just rock so damn hard, and that is one of those songs that really really rocks! It's like forgetting your little kid in the back seat of your car at the airport, and you just landed in some far-off land! But I digress....

As if to answer my prayers, I got my confirmation today for LPunderground.com, free tshirt, couple cds, dvds, etc. Fcking ticketmaster makes you buy it with the tix for the concert....

I've been listening to this LP song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6KFiSxnlNU) for the last few days, yeah it's user made, but what a coincidence!

It'd rock to go to that concert but shit. I'd rather buy parts for my car that doesn't run.

I loved their stuff til the new album. Not as good as Meteora and the incoherent attempt at a political opinion on there should have been left off the album. I feel like I'm listening to some of NIN's whiney crap. Other than that, it's decent.
