I've only made the hike to Plymouth once. I show when the venue is closer. I don't care what day it is on.

Call me selfish, but I wouldn't have a problem if it didn't effect me. I would have been at the other meet last night, if I wasn't leaving work after you guys had already left Davannis as will be the case every single week. Splitting up the meets is going to cause a lot more non-existent meets, where nobody decides to show up because not enough people are going. The idea behind the Wednesday night meet was that it was a night that worked for a majority of the regular attendees.
If it's more convenient for more people to have the meet elsewhere, I have no problem with that. Plymouth is pretty far away from all but 3 of us after all. But can we please just keep it on Wednesday night?
And for the record, if you have a problem with my actions, me being loud, etc, call me out on it. But if you have a problem with what I have to say, ignore it. Seems to work for those you're not alone with.
All I said was check the attitude at the door please.
A more centralized location than Plymouth would be excellent. I don't think anyone really cared that it was a Tuesday, it was the more centralized location that got us there. You don't like the longer drive? Welcome to our side of the story, except take your now longer drive and double that for what it takes us to come to the meets in your home town.
So in a nut shell, a more centralized meet, on a Wednesday, sounds like it'd be the best solution.

How about by where the applebees is where we met? That's not too far is it? Should we try that new Mexican place? I'm trying to think of northish more eastern burbs that aren't North Minneapolis. I could check out the Mexican restaurant this weekend.

That would be more do-able. Still about a 25min drive for some of us, but better than the 35 or so it takes to Plymouth.
What about the champps / acapulco that was suggested in the other thread off 694 and Silver Lake Rd? That'd be like 15-20 for people in the western burbs, 15-20 for those living in Minneap or St. Paul, and about 15 for us northern folk.

Yeah, Plymouth is borderline BFE Any further than OC on 55 and you're looking at farmland. Not really much out here besides a bunch of chain restaurants, and it would probably be good to get my ass out to other parts of the city occasionally. That's not to say I'd be cool with East St. Paul every week, but you get the idea.
Sorry about being an ass earlier, I was pissed about the weather and not being able to get some stuff done, and it didn't help that my initial thought on the new meet (being that it would kill the regular one) was fulfilled. There are other issues too, but I think we'll leave it at that.

I don't think anyone would really have a problem with keeping it on Wednesday, so no worries there dude :) Just somewhere more centralized.

I vote more central too. I liked the meets at the old bees, also people always showed at wagners and porkys. I stopped going to the OC meets because it was too far, and the food and beer are way overpriced unless its happy hour.
Chammps off 694 next tuesday or wednesday. Lets do it.
Since no one is really coming from south of minneapolis, Id say that is the best location.

A valid point I believe is that most of our members are on the northern side of the cities, yes i know we have some south too.

Well if I decide to go to these meets again, I'd be coming from the airport, but I'm heading towards the northwest metro so it's not a big deal. I'd like to start going to meets again, so something in that area works better for me than Plymouth.
