Thanks spaz for letting me drive, the only way I'm driving a 7.8:1 motor again is if nothing is broken in this car but hopefully it will only be for a while.

I love the low end on an evo, I need to start building motors for my junk.

Not a problem. Was nice to get a chance to pull the boost gauge out of the glove box for a bit and give it a thorough watching.

only 1G's were 7.8:1 homie! 2G's were 8.5:1 and evos are 8.8 or 8.9:1 sucka! Add in some twinscroll love and you got a fun-ass combo. You should have driven dizzle's car :) Or heck, Jim's IX. Mivec plus FP 4R cams make retarded torque. Compression be damned.

Some vendor posted about 10:1 pistons for the X on EvoM today (for E85). That sounds fun.

The X's are 9:1 now too...and if you wanna spend 21k on the AMS 900x package you can get 10.5:1 compression, man that would be sweet!
