Well, I just found out the offer got accepted on our new house. This is a different situation though as it is a "short sale". Basically it is in pre-foreclosure. The bank has to accept the offer now.

The house is in Ham Lake, home of 2,000 sqft garages and 676 (26x26) sqft shops! Yes, I will be maxed out in 2 years. The shop goes up this fall if the weather is good, or next spring. 3/4 acre lot, 4 bed & 2 bath, 2160 sqft and 3 car attached garage. It is a little older than the house I am in now, but it will be much better. Way bigger lot, a bit bigger house and room to expand. Not to mention cheaper than the house I have now.

So, if you see a bunch of for sale threads, that is me trying to come up with the downpayment since we will have 2 houses at the same time, this one will be for sale in about a month.

Doesn't your bank defer payments atleast for awhile until your existing house sells? That is what we are going to do as soon as we find a house we like; our morgage company lets us defer payment for up to a year while the house sells. If it doesn't sell by that time; well then we are screwed.

Good deal though, I am surprised it took you this long to move. Fridley sucks; especially the cops.

Yep, court date Oct. 10th :D

Thanks everyone! Someone bought this house to flip it, but the market went south on them. The kitchen and bathroom are still late 70's vintage, but pretty much everything else was updated. The outside looks a little old up from too, but we will change that up when we do the addition (bigger garage/shop and master suite upstairs) in a couple years. The bottom picture is taken from where the shop will be.
