So if the bank is to accept offer or not, was it a foreclosure? If so, being that I work at a bank, I know we don't like to sit on assets. You should have a good shot if the offer was good.

A short sale is basically pre-forclosure. The bank bought it at auction, but the owner has 6 months to try and sell it for more money. The seller accepted the offer, so it goes to the bank. I am pretty sure they will take it.

Nice place to live. It has a good stripe of stores on the main road and lot's of woods behind it. It's pretty quiet once you get into the woods area.

My sisters been waiting for around three weeks for the bank to reply on a quick sale they put an offer in on. Be prepaired to wait.

Yeah, been waiting 1 1/2 weeks now and it was supposed to take 2-3 weeks the bank said.

Brandon, I am working on the current house to get it up for sale ASAP. I just finished the crown molding in the living room tonight, it looks sweet! I also finished up painting it (light tan with white crown). I'll post some pic's in the home improvement thread once the furniture gets moved back. I will put some up of the kitchen too. The bathroom comes next, marble floor, new tile shower surround, new fixtures all around and fill in a hole in the wall from a medicine cabinet. Yee haa! After that paint 3 more rooms, then hardwood floors in the whole upstairs.

Well the one listed above fell through. The bank ended up being Wells Fargo and they won't take less than what was listed in a short sale situation, it has to go into full forclosure. In the mean time we found a house WAY nicer!

That is an oversized 3 car garage that you can see, and in the back.... an entrance for another shop that is under the main garage! We put an offer in on it Wed and we should hear back Mon or Tues as to what is going on. We are pumped! The house was built in 2003 and it is big. 2440 sqft finished right now, with another 1450 in the basement that is not finished. Lot is a bit over 2 acres with a 720 sqft accessory building allowed. Never make an offer on a house over a holiday, the suspense is killing us!
