Looks really great!
Oh yeah, we will have a house warming party! We will probably have a small one at this house when it is done too. After about 2 weeks we will have the walls painted and it should be looking nice. There won't be much furniture there, since much of it will be at this house, to stage it for sale. Close is looking like Dec 27th right now.
I am SOOOO looking forward to that shop! One of the first things done will be the rest of the floor being poured in the shop. JET's Customs is going to be fired back up since I will have room to store jigs for the exhausts. Thanks for the comments everyone!
Well, they did the appraisal today. They couldn't believe how cheap we got the house. The realtor has 9 people on a waiting list, he keeps trying to get us to just turn around and sell the house to make $60k. The only hurdle left is to sell 2-5 more vehicles this week, getting the underwriting done, then it is time to wait for closing!
Vehicles that have to go:
99 GTP $5,400
97 Chevy 1/2 ton Xcab 4x4 (someone looking at it Mon.) $4,800 (Nash's old truck)
The rest for sale:
01 Lincoln LS V8 Sport $9,200
95 Talon Tsi $4,500
03 Dodge Durango SXT with the 360 V8 in it. $12,800
$100 cash to anyone that gets one sold for me :D They will all be in the for sale section soon, if they aren't already.
Quick flip for 60k? Man, how tempting would that be! Especially with the market in it's current state. Then you probably are thinking like I am and that 60k turns into a shit load more when the market turns around, looks like a hell of a deal man, congrats!

Looks good...gl.
AJ, yeah I am really tempted to flip it, but the house is exactly what we are looking for. There is not way Cassie would flip it either, which I am fine with. If anyone else is looking for a sweet house, there is a big ass one in Andover for a very good price.

Ya, I would skip the flip and just live there. Like AJ said, whenever the market turns around, that 60k is going to turn into 150k pretty quickly. By then, you may be looking for something else so that will be good for ya. :D
Plus, by the time you flip something, $60k is not necessarily worth it. It may turn into only $10k of profit and a ton of time wasted on your part.

i missed this thread when you posted those pics a couple weeks ago. that place looks GREAT! looks spacious but pretty damn cozy. congrats!
even if you got a great deal, i wouldnt flip it now. like others said, wait a couple years and you will make a killing on it.
reminds me... i need to take some pics of my place and post up my progress :)
Thanks guys, yeah we are going to live there. We are not going to find another place with a 1000 sqft shop in the basement. We'll have a party/poker mid to late Jan. We'll get settled in a bit and do a ton of painting.
