Yeah mine ended up being a bent shift fork, TOB, and a clutch disk that the rubber inserts disentigrated. TOB was the last thing replaced. and that seemed to fix it.

Well everyone, my cherry has been popped, first tranny ever pulled. The TOB was destroyed, lol! We put it back together, took all 6 pieces just to see how it looked. Right now just taking a break, tranny is already put back in, just the small stuff now. A lot of hours just for a little TOB, funny but o well.

Congrats! I also had many cherrys popped with my DSM  Before I bought it the most extensive repair I did was replace plugs and wires. Bought a DSM and 6 months later I was pulling starters, then a tranny, now a motor..
These things are a trip on their own...:smoking:

yup.. i've gone from changing air filters and wiper blades to now pulling the engine/tranny for my 2.4 stroker and will do some tranny work (hopefully my problem was only the tob also) its a never ending adventure - 2nd engine since owning it with only 2800 miles on the first one, new suspension and alot more work...... wow
