A 61 is going to be a fair amount laggier than a 20G.

People have run 11s, even 10s with a 20g or smaller with other help. I think a 20g/50trim would be the turbo for him.

Pirate turbo FTW!!!!
GT35R was last year, this year is GT42R.
If your gonna be cool, then do it to it.

Just because 3 guys down in Winona are running them, doesn't make it the choice of turbo for the season. Besides, I wouldn't say they're "cool." Lol. JK. Jake is a good guy.

I actually wasn't referring to them, but at least we know who you are thinking about concerning cars.

It's quite obvious everyone on this site is following their threads. I don't see anyone else thinking about running a GT-42R. Unless Swanny is. So I guess that justifies my statement. And yes, Jake has helped me when "concerning my car." More than everyone else on this site put together. And I know LSE has helped you with yours.

If he can drive, just use a 14B. :D

The gt42 has always been a popular turbo. We do have 2 cars currently with GT42's on them (or on order) that are near finish.

As well as 2 cars with slightly smaller singles (being worked on), 1 car that will have larger than a gt42 (long term project) and 2 cars with massive twins planned.

Yo! This is a tech thread, not a pissing match!

gsxer, get yourself a 20G and see what it will do. If you can't pull 11's out of it then get something bigger and sell the 20G. It takes all of an hour or two to swap out a turbo, not that big of a deal to go bigger if you need to!

Roll a pair of dice until you get 2 numbers which are available in a trim (ie- 50, 57, 60, etc.).
