Keep the stickers and weather stripping on there.

Gotta make sure you don't get wet inside when it rains.

Those front brakes are tiny. Is that common on a car like this? Obviously you will be using a chute but I would still think bigger brakes would be needed. Those look like rear brakes.

Think of which tires get the most bite, the big brakes go on the rear.

Yes the rear brakes are bigger. The fronts are also designed to be used with the assistance of a parachute also.

And yeah the chassis should be ready next weekend hopefully :) The opener is the 7th I think also get your facts straight! I hope to get it certified when they got the cert dudes there. Saves me some money from paying someone to come down or for me to tow it wherever they are.

So I got an extra week for the chassis cert... I should be there for sure with the chassis by then.

I also got the chute in the mail today so that should be all set up along with the engine and tranny mounts very shortly. Im hoping it doesnt take Strange too long to build the rear end for me though. Getting closer....

If he gets lippy, just tack his doors shut.

Good luck on the chassis certification. I'm sure you'll get the golden ticket.

:) I followed everything to a T so it should pass with flying colors.

Other good news is the hood clears the engine :) Wont need to cut that at all. I also did get the chute and everything mocked up and it will be mounted today. The front end is completely done now as well. The engine mounts wont be tough to make and the steering column, brake componants and all the pedals should be here early next week. Ill post some pics with the engine tucked in there. Looks kinda cool.

Im gonna try to make the side two engine mounts and the trans mount today. Also gonna work on the tabs to mount the aluminum and parachute handle and cable.

Still waiting for my brake stuff, pedals and steering column though. I hope they get here this week.

nice!!! what tranny? the sticker says shep but I doubt that!

This is very motivating!!! Seeing you take this all on with only 9 bucks an hour shows that normal people can do something like this!
Thanks!!!
