View Full Version : Cheating to Turn Left Faster? Nascar 2007

Finally, some excitement! LOL
On a serious note the only thing I hope to see happen with Nascar this year is for Dale Jr to tell his mother in law to stick a shifter up her ass, go drive for Childress, and get in the #3 car. That's where he should be driving!

I can say I agree. DEI will fail without him though. He IS the company.
I feel for waltrip. I don't really know the results of what was found in the manifold, but it sounds like it was just oil. If that's the case, they have bigger issues then just that. NASCAR shouldn't really take his crew chief away for the year because of that-seems kinda harsh.

Cheating in Nascar!?! NEVER!
Uhhh, but seriously. That's been the name of the game for as long as Nascar has been around. Bend the rules as much as you can, or straight out cheat if you can get away with it. Their techs are masters of the trade.

BUSTED!
HAHAHA, I love it, NASCAR cracking down. Now if only the sport compact NDRA series would pay attention.

What Nascar was originally saying it was was something that would consume oxygen in the cylinder.... Which would be stupid, and NOT make more power.
Then rumor mill started that it was "jet" fuel, which is normally based off of Kerosene, which is highly volatile, and probably not good in a motor that is fighting detonation every step of the way as it is.
If it is "cheating", I want to know what they found, throw it on a DSM intake manifold, and dyno it, to see if it makes any more power on a DiSeM! It just sounds too good to be true to me, lol.

What NASCAR said is it was an oxygenate. This adds oxygen to the fuel, making it burn more completely with more power if the mixture is correct.
Kerosene is a very stable fuel, that's why it's used in jet fighters.
Couldn't have happened to a better driver!!!
Dale Jr all the way.:drive:
