Dirt might be enjoyable, and in person would probably be better, but I cant stand watching it on TV.

Good call! No need to clean stuff when it was a MOD starting drama in the first place. If he wants it cleaned let him do it.

Contrary to what my roommate thinks, I do clean up my own messes.

How are we even comparing dirt track racing to NASCAR? They do happen to only turn in one direction, and yes, with cars. Thats about all they share in common. I dont see alot of NASCAR drivers doing full on power slides through corners.
And yes, although growing on me, NASCAR is still for rednecks and their sons-brothers. They use carbs, cmon! How good can it be?

I like racing that uses the best available technology aka F1.

Agreed. I tend to lean towards things more hi-tech. Thats part of the reason I was drawn towards imports to begin with. The power people were extracting out of smaller displacement engines through the use of technology and tuning. I can hear it now..... NASCAR tunes their cars...blah blah... I know, but they also use old crappy technology for some portions to "maintain the roots of their racing."

Most NASCAR driver's start out racing on dirt tracks. When I go to the fall Talladega race Tony Stewart still fields a dirt track car on Friday-Saturday night at the Talladega dirt track.
