I don't mean to hate on the project since it is a really fun looking build, but why are you bolting the rear end to the car? If I were you, I'd definately weld them in!!

Yes tease him. Might get him to work on it faster. Wow looking really slick. Are you going to tuck the wires down by the rear Motor mount or how you running them up to the top of the engine? I love to copy your work when I get my car back. I think the wiring in the engine bay is to cluttered.....

This is the wiring so far. Its not complete but this is what its gonna be like. The blue electrical tape is everywhere there is a splice, so if something goes wrong I know where I modified the harness.

As for welding the subframe I guess I dont see the point, from the factory it is bolted up and that seems to wrok just fine.

Wow that is very nice and looks hella cleaner then the stock wiring. After doing all that do you think it was easy with the engine out or do you think you can do it with it in? I am for sure doing this as a winter project. Another question what was the total cost so far of what you needed for doing that? And I like to see a far shot of the engine bay of it too. Looking very nice keep up that great work. And yes post more pics. And Get R done.

I will get you a wide shot later on. The total cost for the wiring was...
extra wiring harness-$50(was not nessesary)
wire loom-$50(25ft of every size-ebay special)
Solder and heatshrink-$30
Elecrtical tape-$15
So Total about $150 but like I said the harness was not nessesary I though it would be but it wasnt. Also I spent a total so far of maybe 70-80 man hours doing it.

For comparison, I spent 80 dollars on an engine harness from a 1G. You got a good deal on that harness, and anyone else buying one shouldn't have to pay more than 50 bucks.

Yah it was pretty cheap. But this was for the fuse box harness, usually the one for the engine is more(with all the sensors and junk).
