How did you go about labeling the wires before cutting them? Did you use a certain color of electrical tape so that you didn't need to guess which wire matched up with which wire after it was brought back in the car? Black, blue, and brown look exactly the same and with the right amount of grease, any color can look like black.

What you dont want to do is cut a bundle of wires. I cut each wire one at a time then shorten them and soldered. But mostly went by the color of the wires. Took some break cleaner on a towel and wiped them off if they were full of dirt/grease.

thats a ton of work but it will be clean... now for the clean factor i would ditch the ac (hey its a soft top) and then do an alternator relocation. also, I would maybe ditch the power steering or come up with a custom set-up to mount that in back to... that would really bling up the engine bay and it would also help in keeping your bay looking empty

I have been debating about the AC. I will keep power steering for sure because Im a pussy :). As for the AC we will see how often I use it this year and that will deside if I keep it or get rid of it.

Thurs Jesse came over and welded up the brackets for the driveshaft. I didnt realize that the carpet fell back into place and was right where we were welding...

I was scared and wasnt thinking and put the fire out with my hand :). Now I have like 7 blisters from being burned. But just another reason to start on the BLACK interior project.
Anyways Sat before the dyno day I bolted up the rear end, and today I finished putting all the suspension parts together.
