Sorry if i want to experience things and fix it myself than have my mom or dad pay for it to get fixed for me.

My parents have never paid a dollar towards any of my cars. Nice stab.

Lesson one -

Transmission repair :: Remove transmission / transaxle from the car. Takes like 30 minutes

I didnt mean it towards you ^ i dont even know you! I had to take out a school loan to get my tranny. I work on all my cars the only car i have got that i didnt buy broke is my T-bird-only worthy car i have right now. Idk if i can get the tranny out in a half hour since i have to put it back in my small little garage, but i'm pretty sure with my air rachet i can get it done in a hour and ahalf to 2 hours, depends on how many smoke breaks i take.

if you've done it before, an hour is all it should take. Make sure you drain the gear lube before starting. If you don't, when you take out the axles - you will have a godlike gear lube spill and that is about the nastiest fluid to spill from a DSM.

Putting it back in takes me over an hour because I'm not as manly as I should be! I can't really "bench press" it into place like some people on here can :P
