Meh to you n/a guys. "reliability" "blah blah" "lag" "too much power" "wet sand in my vagina" "blah blah".
When I buy an expensive car, I like to drive it. Whens the last time you were able to drive yours? It couldn't go to the SO, couldn't make the CO, etc. If you are fine with that then great, more power to you and there is nothing wrong with that then. I guess we just see differently on some things, which is ok :)

Meh to you n/a guys. "reliability" "blah blah" "lag" "too much power" "wet sand in my vagina" "blah blah". Hey Scheides, do what you want. Either way it can all be "reliable" but I'm more than sure you're smart enough to know that it's only as reliable as it's owner/tuner so it doesn't blow up because of some street "tune".

You car must have one really bad "street" tune going then, although I guess yours didnt "blow up."

Having a huge turbo is all cool, but when you go through multiple clutches that are $1k+ a peice, that just wouldnt work with me...

Seriously I dont enjoy driving a beater around everywhere. I got sick of having my car on jack stands and love being in the driver seat more that 2 weeks out of the year. Someday maybe youll understand, Id love to throw a huge as turbo on my car and make 600hp- I know it can be done on an M... I just dont need that, plus that would defeat the purpose of what the car was designed for -handling.

I could use another 100hp from a nice S/C though. But I dont have that kinda of money to throw at it, I like to put money into other things as well.

BTW it has nothing to do with being NA.

Listen, I didn't even read past your first line, but my car is down because of the clutch, not me. You don't know shit about it, my car has been very reliable except Tilton's clutch.

Nobody is talking shit about you or your car Cher, merely expressing opinions.

I tried my best to keep personal stabs out but that's bull when you direct it at me and what I own. I'd express what is on my mind but I'm better than that.

Chris, mod the fuck out of that Evo. Join the club.

Im not a big fan of huge turbos on my daily driver. But I dont think big turbos "ruin" a car or destroy reliability, and I'm not going to tell someone else what to do with their car. If everyone was ultra conservative with modding this hobby wouldnt be as much fun. Scheides obviously knows what he's getting into based on his 2g.

And, who the fuck said a big turbo isn't streetable? I'm sorry you shift too soon. I find it just fine, and my turbo isn't even big! riding around with nate in his civic, cher's old white car, or the evo..Stock really does suck. It spools super fast, then just goes blah..power falls off, and it doesnt feel like it's pulling anymore. I like the ability to keep pulling and pulling. Tune it correctly, don't drive like a dick all the time, and boost/beat the piss out of it constantly, and you'll be just as reliable as any other car. All cars break, modded or not. So, why not go for broke, live a little, and enjoy the car for more then what it came with? Who wants to stay stock, and generic?

LAG=POWER nuff said.
Honestly buying a sports car, modding it, and not expecting it to break is fairly retarded.
